We are independent consultants based in Manchester offering civil and bridge engineering professional services in the highway, rail and local authority sectors. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality deliverables for complex engineering problems at affordable rates. Mohammad Fraz Iqbal is a Senior Design Manager and Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers. He has over a decade of experience in the civil and rail industry. His comprehensive experience includes key roles on multidisciplinary rail projects and major infrastructure projects across the UK.

Technical Assurance

Our team truly understand our client’s needs through our experience fulfilling the role of Technical Approval Authority (TAA) for highway structure schemes. Our experience includes preparing structural reviews and reviewing and accepting Approval in Principles (AIPs), Design Check Certificates and Assessment Check Certificates for local authorities and National Highways. 

We also fulfil the CEM and CRE roles on railway projects ensuring design and delivery of our clients projects are in accordance with Network Rail processes.

Asset Management

Working with local and national authorities, our team delivers all aspects of asset management including planning and executing investigations, structural reviews, inspections and assessments. We also work collaboratively with organisations to develop asset management systems and processes.
 
We combine our experience and understanding of structural deterioration and behaviour with strengthening and refurbishment schemes providing our clients with value for money and whole life cost savings through prolonging the life of assets.

Geotechnical Engineering

Our team work in close collaboration with our geotechnical engineering supply chain specialists to provide practical solutions to ground related issues. This includes investigations, feasibility design, optioneering, preliminary and detailed design, risk management and construction supervision.
